On August 14, 2021, a 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti across several major cities. This is another major setback in a country struggling with political instability, the brutal assassination of the President, COVID-19, food insecurity, and now a devastating earthquake.

The Christian Heritage School of Clisan-Dezomo is located at GrandAnse of Haiti, an area consisting of approximately 5,000 inhabitants. This is the area most impacted by the earthquake. People often ask us, “What’s the best way to help the survivors of the recent disaster?” Our answer is simple: We need passionate supporters to just give to respected, trusted, reputable, on the ground organizations to address the ongoing challenges our people face in Haiti.

 

Our school needs your help. We are on the ground with the infrastructure, knowledge of the country, staff and community partnerships to respond effectively to meet the needs of the most vulnerable children and their families. 

The Christian School has served as the only educational institution in Clisan GrandAnse, Haiti since 2000, providing in excess of 5000 children with the opportunity to learn. Our educational programs are comprehensive addressing the whole child –spiritually, emotionally, physically and intellectually. We reach children through education, sports and nutrition activities that enable them to stay healthy, well-nourished and attend school.

 

The Christian Heritage School is and has been on the ground in Haiti all along – we continue to be there for Haiti’s most vulnerable children and families – thanks to supporters like you. Using 21 years of experience of working in Haiti, we have developed efficient and transparent ways that YOU can make a difference in Haiti. Your donation will be used directly to: providing high quality education to children, family, and supporting community, to providing nutrition and clean water, to expanding and reinforcing the school building, and to building Christian leadership.
